Professionals and Youth Building a Commitment

On April 17, 2008, thirteen professional speakers volunteered their time to address Canon City Middle School 8th grade students on the value of education.  The speakers visited classrooms and shared their personal stories.  This event aims to help reduce the number of students dropping out of school and to encourage students to strive for their personal best.
